Commander Farsight เป็นโมเดลเรซิ่น Finecast ตัวแรกที่ซื้อมา (และน่าจะเป็นตัวสุดท้าย) ก่อนหน้านี้ก็ได้ยินคำร่ำลือมานานของ Finecast / Failcast แต่ก็ไม่คิดว่าจะเลวร้ายขนาดนี้
Commander Farsight will probably be my first and only GW Finecast resin. As I’ve heard for long time how notorious this line is. Not really believing it too much, until I got one for myself.
Screaming Antelope ตัวนี้จริงๆ เป็นตัวแรกๆ ที่อยากจะลองเอามาเพ้น แต่ติดที่นึกวิธีทำฐานไม่ออกสักที จะเอาไปติดกับเบสเปล่าๆ เลยคิดว่าระยะยาวก็ไม่น่าจะดี เลยค้างอยู่ในโหลดองมาเรื่อยๆ
ก็พอหลังจากทำฐานของมินิไปเรื่อยๆ ก็เริ่มเห็นภาพมากขึ้นละว่าควรจะทำฐานแบบไหนกับตัวนี้ จนหลังจบ Manhunter ไปก็คิดว่าควรหยิบมาทำได้แล้ว
This Screaming Antelope, I actually want to paint him for long time but due to unable to find a solution for basing him, he sit in waiting queue. Pinning him on bare base wouldn’t be a good longtime solution imo.
Once I made enough mini base, I starting to get a picture what I should do with it. Until I painted Manhunter so I thought it’s time to start now.
Manhunter ตัวนี้เป็นผลลัพท์จากการฝึกเพ้นสีผิวเนื้อคนในเอนทรี่ที่แล้ว Arco Flagellants ตัวโมเดลจริงๆ เป็นโมเดลที่ไม่ได้ชอบมาก ถ้าเทียบกับตัวอื่นๆ แต่พอเริ่มเพ้นมินิมาเรื่อยๆ ก็คิดว่าเป็นโมเดลที่ปั้นมาได้สวย และน่าจะเป็นโมเดลที่ใช้วัดพื้นฐานการเพ้นได้ดีตัวนึง
Manhunter skin was a result of skin practice of previous work – Arco Flagellants. I actually didn’t like him much compare to other KDM model. But once I start painting minis. I Think he is a good sculpted and could be an excellent basic painting test.
อัปเดตสั้นๆ รอบนี้เป็นงานทดลอง ฝึกเพ้น skin tone อย่างเดียว ที่เลือก Arco Flagellant ของทัพ Sister of Battle มาก็เพราะ เป็นโมเดลที่หน้าตาอัปลักษณ์ (แต่รายละเอียดสวยมาก) อยู่แล้ว ก็ทำแบบไม่ต้องแคร์มากเท่าไหร ว่าต้องหล่อสวยแบบตัว HQ หรือตัวคนธรรมดา
ผมมี Arco Flagellant 3 ตัวจาก Sister of Battle กล่องใหญ่ กับ 10 ตัวจากกล่อง Arco Flagellants ก็ลงมือทำ skin tone 13 แบบไม่ซ้ำกันไปเลย ทุกตัวเพ้นด้วยพู่กันอย่างเดียว ส่วนอืนนอกจากผิวหนัง ก็ทำแบบง่ายๆ เช่นส่วนเครื่องจักร ใช้สี gunmetal รองพื้นแล้วลง shade nuln oil เท่านั้น
ตัวฐาน กับรายละเอียดอื่นๆ เช่นลูกตา อะไรงี้ยังไม่ได้ทำ เอาไว้ถึงเวลาจะเริ่มทำ Sister of Battle จริงๆ น่าจะได้ย้อนกลับมาแต่งพวกนี้อีกรอบนึง
A short update. This time I decided to practices on skin tone painting. The reason that I choose Arco Flagellant from Sister of Battle is they are ugly (but rich in details) so I don’t have to care much how they would look.
I have 13 model in total. Three from Sister of Battle box. Ten from standard Arco Flagellants box. So I choose to do all 13 skin in different color with only paint brush. For the other area from skin I just do basic layer and shading. For example, the metal part are just gunmetal base and shade with nuln oil.
I won’t do basing and other small detail for this one yet. I might revisit them again once I kickstart my Adepta Sororitas army.
Deedlit – ดีดลิท จาก Record of Lodoss War ตัวนี้เป็นของ Plamax ในไลน์ Minimum Factory ได้มาตอนราวๆ เดือนมีนาปีนี้ ก็ลัดคิวตัวอื่นหลายๆ ตัวในโหลดองมาทำก่อนอีกแล้ว (ฮา)
ในแง่คุณภาพพลาสติกก็กลางๆ ไม่ดีไม่แย่ รอยตะเข็บบาง เก็บงานง่าย มีข้อสังเกตนิดนึงตรงเนื้อพลาสติกสีเนื้อ ค่อนข้างใส บางคนอาจจะชอบเนื้อพลาสติกแบบนี้ ก็อาจจะมีเทคนิคทำสีอะไรที่อาจจะใช้ประโยชนพลาสติกใสบ้างก็ได้?
รายละเอียดตามตัวดูเหมือนเรียบๆ แต่จริงๆ ปั้นมาค่อนข้างสวยมาก โดยเฉพาะต้นขา ที่สัมผัสได้ถึงเฟติชของคนปั้น
A Deedlit miniature from Record of Lodoss War from Plamax in Minimum Factory line. I got this around march of this year. And this one got priority over my pile of shame again lol.
From the quality POV, plastic is so so not good not bad. Thin mold line, easy clean is a plus. The Noteworthy is flesh color plastic is a bit transparent, some might welcome this.
The detail a bit bland at first sight. But a wonderful sculpt once close inspection, especially on her thighs – can fell the sculptor fetish -.
ถึงตอนนี้กองทัพ T’au ของผมมี Fire Warriors (Troop), Pathfinder (Fast Attack) และ Shadowsun (HQ) แล้ว จริงๆ ก็สามารถจัด Combat Patrol Detachment นำไปลงสนามได้ละ แต่ ก็ยังขาดยูนิตที่จำเป็นอีกมาก รอบนี้ก็ถึงคราวของ โดรน ชนิดต่างๆ ที่ถึงจะไม่ใช่ยูนิตที่มีความสามารถโดดเด่น แต่ก็เป็นหนึ่งในยูนิตหลักของกองทัพ T’au
By now my T’au army has some of Fire Warriors (Troop), Pathfinder (Fast Attack) and Shadowsun (HQ). Which I can make a combat patrol detachment from them but still lack many necessary unit. So this time I’m making drones. Drone may not be hard hitting unit but they are also a backbone of T’au army.
