โมเดล WH40k ตัวแรกที่ผมซื้อมา ก่อนหน้านี้รู้จัก Warhammer อยู่แค่ในเกมคอมเท่านั้น ซึ่งเมื่อสองปีที่แล้วไปที่เที่ยวที่เยอรมัน ได้เจอร้าน Warhammer เปิดอยู่ หลังจากนั้นไม่นานก็พบว่าได้ตกลงสู่หลุมที่ไม่มีทางปีนขึ้นอีกแล้ว
พอเข้าไปส่องๆ ดูก็รู้สึกโดนกับพวกโมเดล Battle Suite ของ T’au เลยตัดสินใจซื้อ เกือบยกทัพมาเลยในตอนนั้น นับรวมๆ ที่ซื้อมา ก็น่าจะ 1500 แต้มได้เลยละมั้ง แต่จริงๆ เมื่อตอนนั้น ยังไม่รู้หรอกว่าในไทย ก็มีร้านที่เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่าย WH แล้ว ไม่งั้นกลับมาซื้อในไทย ราคาก็ไม่ต่างกันมากเท่าไหร
My first WH40k army. Before this I only known Warhammer from PC game only. Last 2 years I visited German and found a Warhammer shop. And not before long I found my self in an another endless rabbit hole.
T’au BattleSuite took me interested most at that time. So I decided to buy 1 each of model which should be around 1500pts (8e). I didn’t know yet that Thailand also has a local distributor else the prices by buying in Thailand isn’t much different than German.
Fire Warrior ผมเลือกประกอบเป็น Strike Team ยกเว้นตัวหัวหน้าที่ประกอบเป็น Breacher Team แล้วทุกตัวใส่แม่เหล็กไว้ที่แขนขวาให้เลือกเปลี่ยนปืนได้หมด ดังนั้นจริงๆ ผมสามารถเลือกลงได้ทั้ง Strike Team และ Breacher Team โดยยึดเอาจากปืนที่ถือ
ส่วน Pathfinder 10 ตัว ผมใส่แม่เหล็กเผื่อไว้หกตัว เผื่อจะจัดทีมเป็น unit ละ 5 ตัว ซึ่งใน 1 unit จะมี 3 ตัวที่เปลี่ยนอาวุธได้
I choose to assemble the main bulk of Fire Warrior as Strike Team. For the leader I use Breacher Team model instead. Each of them have a magnet on right arm. So I can choose to deploy them as either Strike Team or Breacher Team by judging on the main weapon they carry.
For Pathfinder I magnetize 6 of them. Just in case if I want to deploy as 2 unit of 5 man. So 3 model in each unit can have their specialize weapon.
ก่อนจะลงมือเพ้นด้วยระบบสายพาน ก็มีทดลองเพ้นสีออกมาสามสี่แบบ จริงๆ ชอบตัวสี deep blue (รูปแรก) นะ แต่ไม่ใช่สีที่อยากทำทั้งกองทัพเท่าไหร ก็ลองได้สักพักจนไปจบที่สีน้ำเงิน/ม่วง ตัดกับเหลือง
Before I start mass painting them. I do some experiment scheme, about 3-4. I actually quite like deep blue scheme (1st picture). But I think that is not what I want for my army. In the end I settled with blue/purple one.
