Screaming Antelope ตัวนี้จริงๆ เป็นตัวแรกๆ ที่อยากจะลองเอามาเพ้น แต่ติดที่นึกวิธีทำฐานไม่ออกสักที จะเอาไปติดกับเบสเปล่าๆ เลยคิดว่าระยะยาวก็ไม่น่าจะดี เลยค้างอยู่ในโหลดองมาเรื่อยๆ
ก็พอหลังจากทำฐานของมินิไปเรื่อยๆ ก็เริ่มเห็นภาพมากขึ้นละว่าควรจะทำฐานแบบไหนกับตัวนี้ จนหลังจบ Manhunter ไปก็คิดว่าควรหยิบมาทำได้แล้ว
This Screaming Antelope, I actually want to paint him for long time but due to unable to find a solution for basing him, he sit in waiting queue. Pinning him on bare base wouldn’t be a good longtime solution imo.
Once I made enough mini base, I starting to get a picture what I should do with it. Until I painted Manhunter so I thought it’s time to start now.
Painting Progression
รอบนี้เริ่มทำที่ฐานก่อน ใช้เปลือกใหม่ก้อนใหญ่หน่อย มาวางจัดเลยเอาท์คร่าวๆ พอกาวแห้งก็เอาตัวแพะ มาวางๆ กำหนดจุดแทงแกนเหล็ก แล้วเจาะลงไปจนถึงฐานพลาสติก ลองๆ เทสดูก็คิดว่าหนาแน่นดีแล้ว ก็ค่อยๆ แต่งฐานรอบๆ ตามปรกติ
I started with the base this time. Laying barks around to create a scene until I like it. And once glue dried I mark a drill point then drill a hole through until it reach the plastic base. After some testing and I feel it sturdy enough I decorate around the base as usual.
ลายกล้ามเนื้อ จริงๆ มีทดลองเพ้นสีไปสองสามแบบก่อน ตอนแรกก็ลองแบบ เทาๆ จะให้ดูเป็นลายหิน แต่ทำไปทำมาก็คิดว่าจบที่เพ้นเป็นลายกล้ามเนื้อเลยนี่ละดีสุดแล้ว
น้ำลายเลือดตรงปากหน้าท้อง ใช้กาวยูฮูผสมสี แต้มๆ แปะลงไป ลองๆ ทำเป็นหนแรกก็คิดว่าออกมาพอใช้ได้นะ แต่ก็พอมองออกละว่าควรจะแปะท่าไหน ถึงจะออกมาดูดีกว่านี้
I actually tried to paint his muscle in different color. Before settled down with muscle like look.
Saliva on his belly are create with UHU glue mix with acrylic color. Given that this is my first try doing this, I think I’m doing ok. I can do better if I have to do something like this again in future, I hope.
