ถึงตอนนี้กองทัพ T’au ของผมมี Fire Warriors (Troop), Pathfinder (Fast Attack) และ Shadowsun (HQ) แล้ว จริงๆ ก็สามารถจัด Combat Patrol Detachment นำไปลงสนามได้ละ แต่ ก็ยังขาดยูนิตที่จำเป็นอีกมาก รอบนี้ก็ถึงคราวของ โดรน ชนิดต่างๆ ที่ถึงจะไม่ใช่ยูนิตที่มีความสามารถโดดเด่น แต่ก็เป็นหนึ่งในยูนิตหลักของกองทัพ T’au
By now my T’au army has some of Fire Warriors (Troop), Pathfinder (Fast Attack) and Shadowsun (HQ). Which I can make a combat patrol detachment from them but still lack many necessary unit. So this time I’m making drones. Drone may not be hard hitting unit but they are also a backbone of T’au army.

ในรอบนี้ผมเลือกทำสีโดรน จากหลายๆ ชุดคิท เป็นจำนวนทั้งหมด 24 ตัว ด้วยกัน ได้แก่

Painting
เริ่มทำสีจากการพ่นไล่เฉดฟ้าม่วงทั้งตัวก่อน แล้วแยกส่วนมาเฉพาะหัวโดรน มาเก็บรายละเอียดต่อ เนื่องจากหัวโดรนทุกตัวมันเหมือนๆ กันหมด อันนี้ก็ทำแบบไม่ต้องคิดมาก เข้าระบบสายพานทำเรียงตัวไปเรื่อยๆ
ก่อนแปะมาสกิ้งเทป ผมไม่ได้พ่นเคลียเคลือบไว้ก่อน ผลคือตอนลอกสีมีบางตัวสีลอกเล็กน้อย เพราะการพ่นไล่สีแบบนี้สีบางที่จะบางมาก อันนี้ก็ต้องจำไว้เป็นบทเรียนไป
Start by airbursh whole model with blue gradient. Then start detailing only disc part of drone. As almost all drone have the same shape disc so I can just automatically paint only disc and no need to think anything else.
As some paint are very thin by doing gradient modulation technique so some paint were peeled off when I removed masking as a result of not coating them with clear coat first. Lesson learn here.
ส่วนเลนส์ตาของ Recon Drone นี่ตั้งใจทำเป็นพิเศษ เพราะตอนแรกทำออกมาแล้วดูเป็นกระจกครอบ อันใหญ่ๆ ไม่มีอะไร เลยลองพยามวาดใหม่ อยากให้มันคล้ายๆ เป็นกระจกครอบเลนส์ขยาย ออกมาเป็นรูปที่สอง ก็ดูแปลก ดูไม่ใช่อีก สุดท้ายก็กลับมาทำใหม่ตอนทุกอย่างใกล้จะเสร็จหมดแล้วออกมาเป็นรูปที่สาม ก็ออกมาคิดว่าพอใจละ ดูมีเรื่องราวกว่าอันแรกสุดและไม่ประหลาดแบบอันที่สอง
Recon Drone’s lens is getting special attention. On the first version I feel it too bland. So I repaint it as I want it to look like camera lens. But the second version is too confusing for my liking. Finally once all other painting were almost done. I revisit the lens and made it into 3rd version. And think this is what I like so I stop here.
พอทำโดรนเสร็จ คราวนี้นอกจากเราจะมี Combat Patrol ที่พอใช้งานได้บ้างแล้ว เราก็ยังมี Kill team ที่เล่นได้ตามไปด้วย
A small bonus as now I have a fully functional Combat Patrol. I also have a formidable Kill Team too.
