Storm Knight เป็นพลาสติกโมเดลของ Kingdom Death (KDM) แต่ยังไม่มีตัวเกมคอนเทนใดๆ ซึ่ง ณ ตอนนี้ KDM จะใช้วิธีขายในเทศกาล Black Friday เท่านั้น

ไอ้ตอน Black Friday ปีที่แล้วก็นึกว่าจะรอด ไม่โดนอะไรของ KDM แล้วแท้ๆ แต่ดันมาสะดุดตากับตัวนี้เข้า ก็สองจิตสองใจอยู่ จะรอจนมันกลายเป็น Expansion เต็มตัวแล้วค่อยซื้อน่าจะดีกว่า แต่สุดท้ายก็ตัดสินใจซื้อมาจนได้…

Storm Knight is a plastic kit from Kingdom Death (KDM). But it doesn’t come with any game content at the moment. KDM only sell this in Black Friday sale for now.

I was though last year Black Friday I would survive from the sell. But then I notice this guy. Even know if this might get an full game expansion pack in future I still bought it in the end…

ไซคล็อปไนท์ เป็นโมเดลเรซิ่นของ KDM ตัวแรกที่ผมหยิบมาทำสี และเป็นตัวแรกๆ อีกเช่นกันที่ผมตัดสินใจลองสั่งมาจากเว็บของ KDM โดยตรง

อันที่จริงตั้งแต่ได้มาใหม่ๆ ก็มีลองๆ เอามาประกอบเป็นตัวละ แต่ก็ค้างๆ คาๆ เอาไว้แบบนั้น จนเพิ่งตัดสินใจเอามาทำสีเร็วๆ นี้ จากที่ตอนหลังเริ่มมีความมั่นใจที่จะเพ้นตัวยากๆ มากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ

Cyclops Knight is myy very first resin model from KDM and also my very first purchase from KDM web store.

Actually I had tried assembled him as soon as I got him. But I reluctant to paint him at that time. Now with more confident to tackle a harder one. I choose to paint him this time.

Commander Shadowsun

หลังจากทำ Fire Warrior และ Pathfinder เสร็จ ก็ตัดสินใจทำ Shadowsun ต่อทันที เพื่อเอามาเป็น HQ ของทัพ ก็พอดี Shadowsun เพิ่งออกมาได้ไม่นานด้วย ยังใหม่ๆ ซิงๆ แต่ทำมาแล้วจะได้เอามาลงเป็นตัวจริงในทัพไหมนั่นก็อีกเรื่องนึง

ถ้าเทียบกับโมเดล Shadowsun เก่า จริงๆ ทรงโมเดลเก่ามันก็มีเสน่ห์ของมันอยู่นะ แต่หลังจากซื้อ Farsight ที่เป็น Finecast เหมือนโมเดลเก่า Shadowsun มาแล้วก็คิดว่าพอเหอะ ชีวิตนี้จะไม่ซื้อ Finecast ของ GW อีกแล้ว

After I done a bunch of Fire Warrior and Pathfinder. It’s time for a HQ Commander Shadowsun to lead the army. And She is just release not before long so is this pretty much still new model. But will I use her in my finalize army or not, it is another story.

Compare to old Shadowsun. I think I quite like the old aesthetic of old model but after I bought Commander Farsight. I think I will not buy any single Finecast model from GW anymore

Fire Warrior & Pathfinder – batch painting

โมเดล WH40k ตัวแรกที่ผมซื้อมา ก่อนหน้านี้รู้จัก Warhammer อยู่แค่ในเกมคอมเท่านั้น ซึ่งเมื่อสองปีที่แล้วไปที่เที่ยวที่เยอรมัน ได้เจอร้าน Warhammer เปิดอยู่ หลังจากนั้นไม่นานก็พบว่าได้ตกลงสู่หลุมที่ไม่มีทางปีนขึ้นอีกแล้ว

พอเข้าไปส่องๆ ดูก็รู้สึกโดนกับพวกโมเดล Battle Suite ของ T’au เลยตัดสินใจซื้อ เกือบยกทัพมาเลยในตอนนั้น นับรวมๆ ที่ซื้อมา ก็น่าจะ 1500 แต้มได้เลยละมั้ง แต่จริงๆ เมื่อตอนนั้น ยังไม่รู้หรอกว่าในไทย ก็มีร้านที่เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่าย WH แล้ว ไม่งั้นกลับมาซื้อในไทย ราคาก็ไม่ต่างกันมากเท่าไหร

My first WH40k army. Before this I only known Warhammer from PC game only. Last 2 years I visited German and found a Warhammer shop. And not before long I found my self in an another endless rabbit hole.

T’au BattleSuite took me interested most at that time. So I decided to buy 1 each of model which should be around 1500pts (8e). I didn’t know yet that Thailand also has a local distributor else the prices by buying in Thailand isn’t much different than German.

จำได้ว่าตอนที่ตัวนี้วางขายครั้งแรกนั้น หมดเร็วมากภายในสิบถึงสิบห้านาทีเท่านั้น ตอนนั้นเป็นจังหวะที่กำลังจะเข้านอนพอดี แล้วอยู่ดีๆ ก็มีแจ้งเตือนของล็อตใหม่เข้า ก็โชคดีที่กดมาได้ทัน

When this item go online at first. It sold out in like 15 minutes IIRC. I’m just about going to bed at that time and suddenly a new shop sale notification popup. Lucky me.

First project of the year. A miniature in 50mm base size. Oktoberfest Aya is a special item sold only in Halloween event. Which I push her in top of pile of shame stack.
